Experience
I received a Bachelor of Writing and Literature from Columbia in 2007 and an MFA in Writing in 2011. I have been a college adjunct professor for the past three yeas. Along with teaching, I am an accomplished writer with pieces published with Amazon, Wired, and TIME. My work with writers and with students has given me the ability to hone in on issues within assignments and give the students strategies to build up their strengths. Due to my background, I am well equipped to help students with English, essays, and personal compositions. Creative and non fiction writing is another passion of mine to teach. Along with teaching writing, I love to give out reading suggestions for this genre as well. Even though I am a U.S. citizen, I grew up all over the world, in places such as England, India, and Spain. I relocated to the United States at the age of 17. I think that my unusual background gives me the ability to work with and understand students of all kind. I have been living in the state of Oklahoma for three years and I am enjoying my time in the Southwest region. Two of my biggest hobbies outside of teaching are car mechanics and photography.
